maybe you could find another way like i have. If i go to tafe first i save $10000 plus tafe is easier to get into, then if i continue to uni i only have to be there for 3 years and not 5 (that is to get a masters)

i just got through with the same shit you're going though. the number one thing to make sure the guidance department does what they're supposed to is harass them. i was in there every day asking what needed to be done next to get my transcripts mailed etc.,
i'm also at a college(tulane university) that i didn't visit or interview with. so find out if the colleges you want need that stuff before you take the time and the effort to go out there and look.
